Alessia Cara es una cantante canadiense que ha sido comparada con artistas como Farrah Franklin, Adina Howard y Norah Jones.

Su nombre de pila es Alessia Caracciolo, y comenzó su carrera artística cantando versiones acústicas en su canal de YouTube. Con el pasar del tiempo Alessia logró ser invitada a varias estaciones de radio, incluyendo 15 segundos de fama en Mix 104.1 Boston.
